About the role:

Now seeking an experienced
Assistant Manager to join the team at the Preston store.


As part of the management team you will work closely with the Store Manager and be responsible for; merchandising, staff supervision, motivation, sales and administrative functions of the business.

Your selling style will be consultative with a flair for building relationships within your stores and with your peers. Excellence in sales and service are the key components of success within this most respected retailer.

This role will involve in the beginning some warehouse duties; you will be physically fit and have the ability to work in a warehouse environment when needed.


Skills & Experiences:

  • Management experience is a must within retail
  • Experience in sales and reaching targets eg. big box, homewares, electrical, hardwares, department stores, jewellery
  • Experience of managing team sizes of up to 1
  • A passion for training and developing others
  • Proven sales record within a showrooM/Fast paced retailer
  • Friendly nature and customer service focused
  • Knowledge and interest in interiors, lighting and home wares would be a huge advantage
  • Excellent personal presentation with superior communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse environment when needed
