As a Learning and Capability Specialist you will be responsible for designing and delivering learning initiatives to enable our Allianz Workers Compensation team in Victoria to be successful.

You will partnering and consulting with stakeholders, influencing learning outcomes, designing and delivering learning based on Adult Learning Principles, enabling a life-long learning culture, and supporting business success.


Responsibilities of the role:

  • Utilise contemporary adult learning principles and techniques to develop and deliver learning and capability solutions.
  • Deliver a broad range of Workers Compensation Victoria learning programs from induction to upskilling and career development programs.
  • Deliver learning and capability programs through many delivery modes and channels, with a strong emphasis on selfservice learning.
  • Drive a continuous improvement approach to the learner capability and experience to ensure effective transfer of learning and capability methods achieve their intended purpose.
  • Balance the learner experience and innovation with a commercial lens through modern and 'fit for purpose' adult learning methodologies, aligned to our learning strategy and culture.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and design of learning to ensure best in class delivery outcomes.
  • Contribute to capability uplift, career development and high customer experience of Workers Compensation Victoria teams.
  • Maintain data integrity and enable learning reporting through recording learning attendance in our Learning Management Systems.
  • Contribute to a lifelong learning and risk aware culture by providing legislative context, relevance to their role, WIIFM, and customer impact of learning provided.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, external regulatory bodies and Allianz global to leverage existing learning, drive scale, improve efficiencies, and build enterprise mindset.

Solid understanding of the WorkSafe Victoria Workers Compensation scheme
:

  • Strong insurance experience in a large matrixed, regulated and customer focused organisation.
  • Some experience in successfully delivering a range of learning and capability solutions with solid presentation skills & facilitation of group learning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcomes.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment managing risks, project deliverables, stakeholder challenges, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret complex information, extract meaningful insights, provide effective options, and influence decision making.
