What you'll be doing

The key purpose of the Administration Assistant is to provide high-level administration support to the Clarence Correctional Centre.

  • Maintain all records of payments in Trust Accounts for audit purposes.
  • Report any suspicious Trust account activities to the Security & Intelligence team.
  • Transfer funds due to movement.
  • Perform the Trust Account Reconciliation process daily.
  • Process any digital and technology requests as per policy.
  • Collate funds received from various deposit channels.
  • Credit appropriate individual trust accounts
  • Monitor individual trust accounts and adhere to limits established.
  • Upload Earnings from the Department of Corrections advice.

About you - your ideal skills & experience

  • Experience in providing administrative support
  • Experience in performing a range of administrative functions, including
    • the compilation of correspondence
    • minute taking
    • compilation of statistical data
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining computerised manual information and recording systems

This is a position of trust and responsibility. To support this, we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, including a Federal police check as an essential selection component for this role.
