About the Role


The purpose of this role is to provide procurement advice, work collaboratively with stakeholders, and lead procurement projects alongside the Anglicare team.


This role will involve the delivery of operational procurement activities including tendering, ordering, training, generating reports, contract management, and motor vehicle fleet management.

It will require a thorough understanding of systems being used, supplier management, project management and general procurement guidance.


You will need to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers directly involved in procurement and purchasing activities, ensuring sustainable outcomes for our customers.


Alongside this you will also be required to:

  • Ensure the contracts Anglicare's department have in place are captured in a central location and that they are accessible to the business at any time
  • Ensure contracts are updated as required to meet changing business needs
  • Support the procurement team in the management of all vendor contracts in consultation with the legal team
  • Working together with the Procurement Manager, ensure the preferred supplier register is updated and accurate
  • Ensure the purchasing systems capability is fully maximised by taking responsibility of the performance of the system so that it meets Anglicare's procurement needs

About You
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Finance and Procurement. You will be looking for personal and professional development, with a strong interest in furthering your career. You must be an active team player, with a genuine desire to have an impact.

You may have the following:

  • Minimum 4 years' with contract management disciplines and systems experience in mediumlarge organisations
  • Demonstrated 4 years' experience in vendor management
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement/management skills
  • Experience with electronic purchasing systems or other product management systems
