IT Procurement Specialist required for 10-Month Contract Role

Be part of key supporting business unit in the Finance and Fund Service Team.
**Your new role**
Reporting into the Senior Manager, IT Category Management, the IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting the commercial and procurement work for all external commercial agreements. This role will execute procurement projects and deliver on continuous improvement projects. You'll be expected to:
- Deliver commercial outcomes through sourcing and negotiations in IT Category.
- Support business through commercial review and process guidance for commercial engagements across business units.
- Partner with peers within Supplier Governance team to implement simplification and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and build productive relationships with Key Stakeholders.
- Oversee the design and implementation of a team strategy to enable better Procurement outcomes
- Lead and coach team members to create a streamlined, agile, collaborative, supplier-partnership focused modern procurement approach.
- Collect project and business requirements, lead the development of category plans and sourcing strategies
- Conduct market and risk analysis to drive fact based strategies, developing a comprehensive understanding of all influencers so all opportunities to reduce or eliminate unnecessary spend and process are assessed for opportunity
- Assist with the consolidation of data from varied sources to identify and support fact-driven savings opportunities.
- Adhere to Group and Business Unit policy and process.

- IT Category experience is a must.
- Flexible, delivery-focused mindset
- Strong analytical abilities
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment
- Risk Mindset - Identify and understand, discuss and act on current and future risks.
**What you'll get in return**
This is a 10-month contract position, paying up to $600-$700 per day + super.
