The Program Manager will work closely with the Program Director to support the overall whole-of-government reform program and provide direct project management support to key projects led by the NSW Department team.

The role demands a combination of portfolio management skills, proficiency in both traditional and agile management techniques, and extensive experience in delivering complex portfolio outcomes, particularly in the banking and payments domain.

**Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain the program schedule, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives and milestones.

  • Support the Program Director in managing the broad wholeofgovernment change program, providing expertise in portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the program and project lifecycle.
**Selection Criteria: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in portfolio and project management, with a focus on complex programs of change.
  • Strong knowledge of banking and payments systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in both traditional and agile project management methodologies, with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile certification)
