About the Company

u&u have partnered with a leading educational provider to find their next Marketing and Events Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company which prides itself in delivering excellence.

About the Role

This is a 12 month FTC starting in January that will focus on:
Support the development of communications including newsletters, handbooks both print and digital;
Create and distribute targeted communications, both print and digital, to key stakeholder groups;
Manage day-to-day photography requests and create photo content (camera will be supplied), including support with editing of photos as required (utilising Adobe Creative Suite);
Produce and edit small-scale video content, and work with the team manager, and external production companies, to direct and deliver high-quality, professional video content;
Update the website utilising CMS (WordPress);
Utilise Google Analytics to create regular website engagement reports;
Provide support with the development and delivery of social media content;
Support Advancement team managers with the planning and delivery of on and offsite events;
Coordinate event logistics through the online systems, liaise with key internal stakeholders including catering suppliers and the property team, as well as external service providers; and


Manage event run sheets to provide key information to suppliers, clients and internal delivery teams to ensure event deadlines are met and deliver exceptional stakeholder experience.

Skills & Experience

The Marketing and Events Coordinator will have held a similar job and have:
Previous experience in a broad-based marketing, communications, and events role

Exceptional writing skills, including high-level spelling and grammar,

Technical skill (content management systems, MailChimp, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and more);
Photography skills, with experience taking in-house event photography;
Experience using video production and editing programs to create a range of promotional videos;
Solid understanding of social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, with experience creating and posting content;
Exceptional speed, efficiency and attention to detail, with outstanding organisational, time management and administrative skills;
Experience in end-to-end event coordination within a busy environment;
Ability to work under pressure with multiple competing deadlines; and

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
