ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • The Patient Services Assistant (PSA) is a key patient focused role providing patient centred support services such as cleaning duties, food and beverage service delivery and patient transportation.
  • Werribee Mercy Hospital is offering 12 month PSA in Training TAFE Program in collaboration with The Victoria University Polytechnic (VUP) for successful applicants to obtain a Certificate III in Health Service Assistant. This opportunity will provide on the job training and an opportunity to develop skills to work as a Patient Services Assistant in healthcare. This course will give you the entry level skills and the hands on experience you need to work in a health services role
  • Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital
  • Multiple positions available both full time and part time, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts
  • Shifts: AM and PM shifts, 7 days a week including public holidays.
  • TAFE component delivered at Victoria University Werribee
  • A positive team based supportive environment
  • Opportunity for ongoing employment based on performance review and successful course completion
  • A successful Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment will be required for enrolment into HLT33115 with VUP.
