Based in North Sydney and reporting to the BU HR Manager, this role will deliver a high level of HR support for the demobilisation of Pitt Street Integrated Development and the initiation of the Riverina Region Joint Venture with Downer; two very different projects, at very different stages.

You will provide a structured redeployment process for the demobilisation of Pitt Street whilst at the same time, providing sound HR guidance on any performance matters and employee relations issues.

You will also continue the implementation of the HR lifecycle.

The Riverina Region Joint Venture provides an outstanding opportunity to influence and lead culture throughout the lifecycle of a $1.3b project.

With a highly collaborative Downer HR Team, you will be able to create a bespoke JV EVP to cultivate a consistent culture across 3 separate construction sites and 2 PMOs.

Please note, when the sites are operational, regular travel to the Riverina region will be required.

To be successful in this role you will have: Relevant experience as an HR Professional on complex, fast paced projects Demonstrated experience completing a demobilisation of both salaried employees and Construction Workers The credibility and influence to be part of a project SLT and Chair the JV Steer Co.

This will include using persuasive data to position initiatives.
The commercial acumen to interpret JV data and create parity across the JV, regardless of employer.
The ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level and flex when required.
The pragmatism and level-headedness to manage performance and lead investigations.
A track record of implementing measurable culture initiatives.
The IR knowledge to interpret employment contracts, awards and enterprise agreements and knowledge of relevant legislation.
Experience facilitating short training sessions whilst representing the CPB brand professionally.
An appetite for change.
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business Management or related discipline CPB Contractors is an equal-opportunity employer.
