We are "Digital Field Services" DFS who is a customer facing IT support team.

DFS provides both remote and onsite IT support to School Staff and Students in NSW Public Schools in the following locations:

  • Southern Sydney
  • Eastern Suburbs
  • Inner West


Our conveniently located offices based in Hurstville and St Peters both have onsite parking and are a short walking distance from public transport.

New hybrid fleet are cars available for use to travel to local schools in the surrounding suburbs.

About the role

  • Corporate Apple iPhone and Microsoft Surface notebook provided
  • Flexible worklife balance
  • 35 hour working week
  • This ICT Support Officer role is not normal sit on the phone or behind a desk
  • No week is the same as we support 550 schools and 10 departmental offices
  • Some things we support:
  • Monitoring and maintaining ICT Infrastructure
  • Network Printers
  • LAN Switches and Wi-Fi Access Points installation and troubleshooting
  • Software Applications such as MS Teams, SharePoint, Google Apps


 New Schools
  • IT commissioning
  • Video conferencing
- iOS and MacOS MDM Management / JAMF and Google Chromebooks

  • Windows OS desktop and notebook support

Essential requirements of the role

  • Current Drivers Licence with a good driving history record; willingness to travel as required
  • Hold a valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check)

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
