Position: Grid Connection Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead grid connection procedures for various renewable energy projects.
  • Develop efficient strategies to secure grid connection agreements.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies, network providers, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for grid connections.
  • Manage grid connection applications and compliance requirements.
  • Negotiate favorable grid connection terms aligning with project goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless grid connection activities.
  • Monitor project timelines and address potential delays.
  • Offer technical expertise to resolve grid connection challenges.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Participate in grid connection consultations and represent company interests.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in grid connection management in renewable energy.
  • Deep understanding of electricity network infrastructure and grid requirements.
  • Proven track record in delivering successful grid connection projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry practices in Australia.
  • Project management certification desired.
