    VIC State Manager (M/F/d)
    based in Perth, Western Australia for a permanent contract.
  • The
    State Manager (M/F/d) is responsible for the development and implementation of the Sales plan to maintain growth of the business in VIC and the achievement of that plan within budget operating expenses. This task will be accomplished through the management of the VIC sales teams and close liaison with senior customer representatives.
    Your mission
  • In consultation within National Sales Manager, develop the VIC sales plan, ensuring this reflects and integrates with the business and marketing plan
  • Implement the sales plan in order to achieve sales targets
  • Develop, secure and maintain key account relationships
  • Implement the pricing and margin strategies
  • Control sales related expenditure and promotional expenditure for VIC
  • Inform and manage the sales team through dissemination of all sales and marketing strategy development via ongoing communications and effective sales meetings
  • Lift the company profile through active participation in relevant industry associations, promotions and key customer relationships
  • Develop and maintain networking opportunities with other industry participants
  • Manage the performance of sales personnel to ensure sales and margin targets are met through coaching and development
  • Effectively motivate and develop sales personnel to deliver continuous improvement
  • Actively monitor sales representative visit programs and activities, offer advice and support when required
  • Regularly appraise all sales staff to formulate training plans and succession planning
  • Implement L&D training plans for the sales staff in VIC
  • Promote and ensure compliance to all national and state OH&S policies, procedures
  • Train, monitor and use of CRM system

Your profile

  • Demonstrated experience at a senior level in achieving sales targets including a track record of winning and maintaining significant new business accounts
  • Experience in establishing long term profitable relationships across all levels of customer organization (Regional Managers, Area Managers, Purchasing, Store Management and staff, Top Tier Contractors etc.)
  • Strong planning and implementation skills to ensure planned outcomes are achieved
  • Previous experience in the management of employees servicing the electrical wholesale market, including coaching and staff development
  • Proven leadership skill in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of CRM
  • Strategical thinking and good analytical skills
