Role and Responsibilities:

As the Childcare Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations, strategic direction, and success of the centre.


Your key responsibilities will include:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Inspiring and leading a team of passionate educators, promoting a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing exceptional educators, fostering their growth and professional development.
  • Conducting regular staff meetings, providing feedback, and implementing performance management processes.

Educational Excellence:

  • Overseeing the implementation of a highquality curriculum and educational programs that meet regulatory requirements and promote holistic child development.
  • Ensuring the curriculum reflects best practices, current research, and early learning frameworks.
  • Monitoring and evaluating educational outcomes to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Operations and Compliance:

  • Managing the daytoday operations of the center, including enrolments and scheduling
  • Ensuring compliance with all licensing, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Implementing effective systems and processes to support efficient center operations.

Family and Community Engagement:

  • Building strong relationships with families, promoting open communication, and actively involving them in their child's learning journey.
  • Collaborating with community stakeholders, participating in community events, and promoting the center within the local area.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
A genuine passion for working with children and a strong desire to make a difference in their lives.

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Availability Monday - Friday

Excellent knowledge of child development principles and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.

A current First Aid/CPR certification and a valid Working with Children Check.

Proven track record of successfully managing a childcare center, demonstrating exceptional leadership and management skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, industry regulations, and best practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to engage with families, staff, and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types:

$ $50.00 per hour
