The Opportunity:


We're hiring a Portfolio Specialist to join our re-branded Strategic Portfolio Office (formerly PMO) Reporting directly to the Senior Strategy Execution Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving impactful change and innovation across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with stakeholders across all levels of the business, gaining valuable insights into our project pipeline and actively contributing to our strategic initiatives.

A day in the life of a Portfolio Specialist at Toll Group:

  • Assist in crafting the annual strategic plan and investment budget, driving prioritisation of investments and ensuring benefits realisation.
  • Prepare materials for highlevel meetings and executive reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and budget standards.
  • Consolidate strategic investment data for senior leadership, highlighting key insights and trends.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Units to support their goals and ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and quality checks for project business cases and coach projects for Investment Board approval.
  • Manage governance activities, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support process improvements, template creation, and maintenance.
  • Manage enterprise resource allocation and tracking, providing budget impact insights.
  • Handle administrative tasks for meetings, workshops, and collaboration efforts.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and selfservice resources for efficient operations and delivery processes.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and build relationships
  • Proficiency in Enterprise PMO / Transformation processes
  • Data driven with an analytical mindset
  • Familiarity with Strategic Portfolio Management platforms
  • Ideal experience in Benefit Realisation Processes
  • Strong initiative, motivation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently under strict deadlines
  • Planview experience is desirable but not essential.
