Marketing Manager, Insurance

Your business and team:

  • Consumer Marketing is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Marketing and Corporate Affairs function at CBA
  • We directly support the Retail Bank leadership team and deliver toward Retail Bank priorities through either persistent membership of business teams, or through a 'flow to work' model
  • Our team partners closely with other CBA Marketing COEs including Brand & Creative, Business & Institutional Marketing, Media, and Customer Insights and Research
  • The Wealth and Private (W&P) Marketing Chapter, defines marketing strategies and plans to execute on the business strategy of the Wealth and Private Banking business within the Retail Bank
  • Reporting to the Chapter Lead (Executive Manager) Wealth & Private Marketing
  • Indirect report to Senior Marketing Manager, Wealth Partnerships

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of the marketing strategies for insurance to best drive engagement and acquisition of core products (life, car, home etc.)
  • Utilize data and research to influence and build retention strategies across the portfolio
  • Support in the launch of new products and customer journey's for insurance
  • Explore and activate crosssell opportunities across CBAs customer base
  • Collaborate with external partners to understand commercial partnerships and design appropriate marketing responses
  • Facilitating increased advocacy from customers through influencing design of experiences that are simple and straightforward for customers to navigate
  • Influence core partners via membership in cross functional agile teams who will execute gotomarket plans and customer communications strategies to meet business and customer objectives
  • Execute reporting by product/segment line, including results on business objectives, initiatives, key results, learnings and next steps

Your skills & experience:

  • Strategic experience in contributing toward the design of customer value propositions that are simple, cohesive and can be used to develop compelling gotomarket strategies
  • Exposure to/Experience in working with insurance products preferred
  • Insight driven with ability to use data to inform decision making and rationalize marketing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with all elements of the value chain in including product / data and analytics / digital etc.
  • Experience in influencing cross functional 'virtual' teams of various disciplines to build and execute on customer centric plans
  • Commercial acumen and ability to track, optimize and demonstrate ROI/ROMI from campaign metrics
  • Creative thinker with problemsolving/growth mindset
  • Strong project and time management skills
