Lutheran Services is seeking a Manager for our Retirement Living Portfolio to oversee the management and strategic development of our retirement living portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of care, resident satisfaction, and performance.

About the role:

  • Manage a portfolio of retirement living communities, ensuring operational excellence, financial sustainability, and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Foster a positive living experience and desirable communities for residents through effective communication and initiatives that enhance the overall quality of life
  • Lead and inspire the dedicated Retirement Living team, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary to achieve organisational goals
  • Build and maintain rapport and positive relationships with residents, staff, community partners, industry bodies and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.

This is a full-time, permanent role.

About you:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in retirement living, property portfolio management, or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience managing business operations, budgets and finances in the retirement living space
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and problem-solving abilities
