About us:

Lutheran Services is a not-for-profit organisation serving the people and communities of Queensland since 1935. We provide quality, contemporary care and support for people of all backgrounds in over 20 locations throughout Queensland. We offer a range of professional care services, as well as retirement living and aged care accommodation. We operate in an environment where we receive government funding to deliver services and provide accommodation.

  • The Finance team is based at our corporate Support Centre at Milton, where teams of professionals across marketing, human resources, property, and ICT, all provide support and business services to our local sites, staff and clients and residents.

About the role:

  • Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will join a multiskilled team that ensures we deliver thorough and accurate financial processes and deliver clientfocused service in all our interactions with members of the public and stakeholders.
  • Your tasks will be varied; however, your key responsibilities are to:
  • Prepare resident and client agreements
  • Maintain resident and client Masterfile data, process billing on a fortnightly basis and liaise with Government Departments, residents and their families and admin staff at Lutheran Services sites
  • Keep updated records and processes in line with Government requirements
  • Respond to queries in a respectful and understanding way.

This role is a full-time role, fixed term for 12 months, based at our Milton Office

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in a similar role, and be eligible for access to Proda
  • Strong procedural, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
