You will provide specialised skills in portfolio analysis, reporting and process improvements that presents insights to the delivery of
yourtown's portfolio investment plan and achievement of the organisation's Vision and Strategic Objectives.


You will also:

  • Support the EPMO in the management and governance of yourtown's portfolio of programs and projects, including involvement in the development and implementation of portfolio management processes and tools to ensure effective management and reporting of yourtown's portfolio of projects.
  • Conduct portfolio level reviews at key points to provide assurance that defined portfolio processes and controls are operating effectively.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and meet the requirements of the position and all performance expectations, including maintaining currency of knowledge regarding relevant legislation, professional practice and emerging trends to ensure advice is current and effective.
  • Participating in other duties and crossfunctional teams as may be required in order to achieve efficient and effective
    yourtown services.

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in project management or relevant area.
  • Have a minimum of five years of related experience working in a Portfolio Management Office in a changing and complex organisation.
  • Demonstrate substantial knowledge and experience of portfolio management, program and project management methodologies, benefits realisation and the use of processes and tools for monitoring and controlling at a portfolio level.
  • Excel with their oral and written communication skills with particular focus on writing and/or editing complex business documentation within a project environment.
  • Skilfully manage and coordinate stakeholders, including developed leadership, motivation, negotiation, and delegation skills
