If your values align with ours then we've got an opportunity you might be interested in We are seeking a passionate, and experienced Social Worker to join our Youth Services team.

Your key focus will be to assist children and young people to reach their potential, and to develop confidence to manage life's challenges through The Big Brothers & Big Sisters Program.

You will be conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments of young people and their families referred to the program, identifying key needs and potential referrals, providing case work support, and improving the ability of community members to access services and supports.


As the Program Coordinator you will also be responsible for the recruitment, training and support of volunteer mentors in the program and engaging with the community to generate potential volunteer interest.

About you


You will be passionate about improving the lives of youth in the community and be highly aware of the complex issues they face in day-to-day life.

You will also be aware of the potential resources available to young people and how to connect individuals with these resources.


With tertiary qualifications in Social Work you will also have demonstrated experience in case management within the social welfare sector, with a specific emphasis on youth wellbeing.

You will have the ability to assess client support needs clinically and develop care plans that support these needs.
