We are seeking a Full Time NDIS Support Coordinator to work within our NDIS Services Team.

In this role you will work as part of a small team to assist participants with all aspects of their NDIS plan-coordination, implementation and review.

The role also works within a community context to ensure members of the Jewish community have access to a range of supports.

The role further involves facilitating service delivery by JewishCare NDIS support workers, and providing appropriate supervision and coaching.


The role includes facilitating conversations about what is possible with a participant's NDIS plan, building capacity for participants to exercise choice and control, supporting participants to navigate the NDIS marketplace and find providers that are the best option for them.

You will work inclusively with participants, their families and carers to enhance the participant's ability to achieve their goals.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Essential Criteria

  • Qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, Allied Health or Nursing, a minimum of a Diploma of Community Services;
  • Proven experience in supporting people with a range of disabilities including intellectual/developmental disability and be passionate about enabling people with intellectual disabilities to live a fulfilling and inclusive life;
  • Strong knowledge of the NDIS, Quality and Safeguards;
  • Proven experience in providing expert advice and consultation to NDIS participants and their families on the changing NDIS environment;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities within tight time frames and be able to work in a dynamic environment and coordinate a number of activities at one time;
  • Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to mediate difficult situations and crises with clients, carers and service providers;
  • Current drivers' licence.

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of external services provided by the wider community;
  • Knowledge, sensitivity and an understanding of Jewish values, heritage and culture.
