About the Role

The Art Director plays a crucial role in maintaining the graphic design of marie claire and its affiliated channels under the guidance of the Creative Director. This position focuses on the digital delivery of design across various platforms, ensuring a premium look and feel that aligns with the brand's essence.

Responsibilities include developing creative concepts, collaborating with different departments to drive brand concepts, and enhancing the digital design identity of marie claire and ELLE.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative concepts for digital and print,
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop brand assets,
  • Enhance digital design identity of both brands,
  • Bring creative vision to life through collaboration with internal teams,
  • Work closely on social/site assets, layouts, and cover concepts.

Skills and Experience

We are seeking a team player with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, dedicated to the growth of this global brand.

  • 7+ years of design experience with magazine production background,
  • Proficient in design programs like InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, and video editing tools,
  • Strong design and typography skills,
  • Capable of balancing commercial and editorial requirements effectively,
  • Experience with ContentStation and InSite is a plus.
