Job Description
We're looking for an Art Director to join our small but mighty team of Retail/Shopper communication experts. You will have a deep understanding of shopper agency and client principles and practices and work closely with our GM on some of Australia's most beloved brands.
You will help drive all things Creative, providing engaging and effective shopper and retail concepts for our clients. You will be working through the line, providing key visual development for activation, promotions, point of sale and social, to name a few. You will have proven experience in POS creative development and understand messaging hierarchy.
You will be required to design assets so must be proficient on the Design tools. You will work closely with a Studio Designer and Producers to bring all cross-channel campaign elements to life, ensuring concept delivery feasibility (cost and timings) and alignment with concepts and rollout. From time to time, you will be required to contribute to brainstorming copy for Retail/Shopper campaigns, promotions, launches etc., with the support of the team.
We're looking for someone who has/is:
3+ years' experience as an Art Director or Conceptual Designer at a creative or promo agency, with a focus on retail/shopper campaigns and executions. A good understanding and passion for design, POS & digital/social. Good understanding of path to purchase comms and knowledge of best shopper execution principles. Fluency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator CC. Strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills with good presentation and selling skills. Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. You know how to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. An interest in social and cultural trends. Capable of taking projects from ideation to concept and rollout. Proactive, responsive, and self-starting. Inquisitive and able to assimilate information and insight into effective creative ideas and executions. An open mind to creative solutions and great problem-solving skills – you are able to suggest and implement solutions for day-to-day challenges. Work effectively on their own as well as collaboratively within a team. Resilience and a cool head. Skills in editing and content production (highly regarded). Skills in 3D rendering and in-situ modelling (highly regarded).What we'll offer you
