With almost a century serving as a Caterpillar Dealer, William Adams has established a strong presence in the industry. Teaming up with Caterpillar, we have been dedicated to offering top-notch equipment for various sectors including construction, mining, and industry.

We are currently looking for an Equipment Sales Manager to join our Sales team based in either Clayton or Laverton. In this role, you will oversee the Victorian Regional Sales team covering New, Used, and Rental equipment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Equipment Sales Manager at William Adams, you will be instrumental in driving our sales efforts and enhancing our market position. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of 7 sales professionals, developing strategic initiatives, and nurturing client relationships to ensure sales targets are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve goals.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to expand market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build client relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on sales strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide timely sales reports to management.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a dynamic sales leader who is passionate about driving sales success. You should have a solid understanding of the heavy machinery industry and the markets we operate in.

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in equipment sales.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
