About the Role

The Training and Compliance Lead collaborates closely with clients, HSEQ Industry, and Business Units to ensure adherence to industry standards in enhancing technology, systems, processes, and training for personnel involved in Electricity Distribution Networks. Reporting to the Organizational Development Lead, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the QSE team in conducting ICAM investigations related to significant incidents, when necessary.
  • Manage Business Unit's audit program, performing field and vehicle audits to ensure compliance with business and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate all training needs within Business Units and for subcontractors to meet industry standards, maintaining training information through industry-specific systems.
  • Develop and oversee training plans for overseas and interstate workers as needed.
  • Lead apprenticeship recruitment in collaboration with the HR Team.
  • Create training plans for apprentices and overseas workers, overseeing apprentice journaling.
  • Support the recruitment of field personnel, ensuring onboarding is compliant for both internal and subcontractor field personnel.
  • Provide accredited training to employees using Cert IV Trainer and Assessor qualifications as required.
  • Establish and nurture training and compliance partnerships with network companies and RTO's.
  • Prepare regular reports on training compliance for networks.
  • Assist Business Units in reviewing SWMS and JSA's, contributing to the development of procedures and work instructions.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
  • ICAM's Lead Investigator or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver's License
