Austral Bricks is seeking a customer focused Sales Consultant to join our Design Centre at Deer Park Victoria.

Role:


Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing colour scheme and design advice along with superior service to assist our customers in the selection of exterior colours for their new home.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate appointments with clients for selections through our database.
  • Guide customers through the colour selection process and different building materials.
  • Maintain a detailed and current knowledge of the companies' products and services.
  • Assist in the development and growth of Austral Bricks as a frontline company representative.
  • Provide data to the Team Leader in preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
  • Assist with the smooth running of the Design Centre.
  • Provide customers with friendly professional advice on our full range of products.
  • Process orders via JDE and Salesforce systems.
  • Initiate required action for response to customer service requests and communicate effectively with the appropriate personnel/departments.
  • Confirm all pricing with customers/reps before processing an order.
  • Maintaining efficient and timely banking.
  • Maintain work area, displays and front office to a high standard.

  • Passionate about customer service and demonstrated experience.
  • Strong building industry knowledge and of building products (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Adept at solving problems.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
