Balcatta and Mirrabooka, WA**.
As a community-centric organisation, it provides residential aged care, in-home care, and retirement living services to Mirrabooka, Balcatta and surrounding areas.
They are a proudly multicultural organisation whose vision is to be the preferred provider of culturally appropriate services whilst upholding its values of respect, care, love and contribution to its clients and employees.
About the opportunity
Your role as the Home Care Manager will see you champion the home care program, ensuring customers are supported to remain living independently for as long as possible.
You will be responsible for the clinical governance and operational management of the home care program for 50 residents.Reporting directly to the CEO, you will develop and report on financial and customer budgets, compliance, service agreements, and strategic plans.
Your day-to-day duties will see you guide and support the Home Care Coordinator and Home Care Administration Officer to ensure accurate clinical assessments, care plans and customer needs are met.
Utilising your comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards, your aim will be to continuously improve and enhance the organisation's care and services.
You will ensure all policies and procedures are compliant with current legislation and accreditation requirements.Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing staff availability, rostering, onboarding and inductions as well as performance reviews
- Ensuring continued educational development of staff (internal and brokered personnel)
- Ensuring customer service delivery is in line with home care legislation
- Reviewing customer budgets and investigating any discrepancies
- Document control, reporting and statistical analysis
- Auditing policies and procedures and providing action plans
Additionally, you will have a full understanding of National Quality Indicators, Clinical Indicators, AN-ACC, and Hazards, Incidents, and SIRS Management.
This role will see work out side of hours from time to time including evenings and weekends to assist with team availability.
About you
You will have experience in a similar role.
You will have a valid Driver's License, AHPRA registration, a National Police Clearance and be up to date with all COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations.
