THE OPPORTUNITY


This position is accountable for the delivery of and contribution to People and Culture strategies, people objectives and plans in line with company strategic objectives to ensure the business maximises its full potential in relation to profit, growth, service, and reputation.

The role provides leadership, guidance, and advice to their Business Unit operations regarding all people leadership and management.

The People and Culture Manager leads their team and is responsible for managing and maintaining the policy and processes of the business, ensuring the business receives effective and time service and advice across all people practices.


This role is a 12 Month fixed term position (Parental Leave Backfill)**
THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coach and influence business unit stakeholders to support and drive P&C initiatives.
  • Provide advice to leaders on workforce interventions across the employee lifecycle.
  • With your team research and investigate all workplace issues to discover facts, identify potential risks and facilitate resolution through your employee relations programs.
  • Function in an active and influential business advisory role with executives in order to drive business results.
  • Leverage broader P&C team resources to drive change in leadership and organisatonal development.
  • Liaise with other functional / departmental heads to understand all necessary aspects and needs of P&C development, and to ensure they are fully informed of P&C objectives.
  • Mentor people and managers, and work with the leadership team to develop the capability of management.
