& Culture Consultant to join a Council in the North East suburbs of Melbourne.

Duties include:

  • Drive strategy in regards to recruitment best practice and sourcing employees and provide input into business strategies aligned with the People Strategy
  • Provide analytics and advice for workforce planning strategies
  • Provide guidance, support and advice to other People Business Partners and the business leaders to drive people processes (performance excellence and development) including management of IR/ER issues, investigations, end to end recruitment and positions descriptions to ensure due processes are established and followed
  • Working closely with recruiting officers to provide a timely end to end recruitment service
  • Research, develop and implement projects, change for organisational HR initiatives in alignment with the People Services established business objectives

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources or relevant discipline with significant experience in generalist HR management or lesser formal qualifications and extensive relevant experience
  • Significant experience in a broad range of general HR functions, including end to end recruitment, ER/IR at both an operational and strategic level, preferably within a diverse multisite organisation
  • Experience in researching, developing and implementing a diverse range of HR systems, policies and procedures
  • Experience in the planning and implementation of organisational change
