My client is a group entity servicing leading ASX-listed Australian companies. Due to growth they are seeking a motivated admin and accounts clerk to join a small team in the heart of Sydney CBD.

You will play an important, dual role supporting the office manager as well as finance team on varied duties;

  • General administrative duties
  • Reception duties
  • Assist finance team with the preparation of supporting information for year-end and half-year audit process
  • Accounts payable preparation on an ad hoc basis
  • Processing of staff expenses reimbursement and credit cards transactions
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations and processes
  • Booking of flights, entertainment.

About you

  • Strong administrative skills
  • Some experience in accounts payable and general accounts experience will be preferred however not required - just a strong interest in it
  • Strong English skills, both written and verbal preferred
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible in moving between different roles and companies
  • Accounting qualifications (diploma or degree) will be well-regarded
