The Institutional Client Group (ICG) for Debt manages the Bank's relationships with institutional investors across the full Debt product spectrum.

ICG Debt combines the global capabilities of Deutsche Bank with regional expertise on five continents.

With leading market shares in nearly every product and region, our teams success relies on factors. You will be anticipating the impact of market and regulatory changes to clients' business, developing the latest eCommerce and Clearing platforms, and leveraging the Bank's product, research and structuring expertise to offer tailor-made solutions, which are customised to meet the specific requirements of each individual client

Your key responsibilities:

  • Working with Product and the other ICG team members to implement a strategy to grow the Rates business in a manner consistent with the Product business strategy.
  • Proactively driving sales coverage of FIC products to Australia based clients, across liquid and illiquid products.
  • Broaden our relationship and penetration with the Australian Institutional client base
  • Continue to build and maintain strong relationships with Macro clients in Australia and Offshore clients who require local specialist coverage.
  • Broadening the penetration of non AUD Rates and STIRT product amongst the local client base including G10 and Emerging Markets Products.
  • Working collaboratively with the ICG Global teams to broaden the participation and distribution of AUD Rates products across our global client set.

Your skills and experience:

  • At least 4 years' experience in a similar role with direct experience in the Australian and APAC marketplace
  • Strong existing relationships with the client set that Deutsche Bank engages with primarily Banks, Real Money accounts, Issuers and Pension Funds.
  • Sound technical knowledge across derivatives and cash Fixed income products suitable for the role
