Your Impact:

As a Market Manager based in Sydney, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding supply in key markets across Australia and New Zealand. Your responsibilities will include managing professional host accounts, acquiring high-quality inventory, and establishing Airbnb's strong presence in your region. By collaborating with various teams and leveraging your Airbnb knowledge, you will drive supply acquisition, develop acquisition strategies, nurture partner relationships, and strategize for long-term market success.

A Day in Your Role:

  • Build and nurture partner relationships in your assigned territory
  • Directly manage top-tier accounts to achieve sales targets
  • Design regional sales and strategic account plans
  • Contribute to the go-to-market strategy within your markets
  • Analyze data to identify strategic opportunities and increase sales
  • Represent Airbnb in meetings with hosts and industry conferences
  • Educate clients on product updates and gather feedback
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure market success
  • Develop strategies for acquiring and retaining hosts in high-demand locations
  • Implement programs to maintain high hosting standards and guest satisfaction

Your Expertise:

  • 6+ years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, and partner support
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, travel, or technology (preferred)
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying data for decision-making
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments with changing priorities
  • Passionate about travel, Airbnb, and the sharing economy
  • Experienced in working cross-functionally and at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Proficient in CRM software, especially Salesforce
  • Resourceful, self-sufficient, and a charismatic self-starter
  • Fluent in English
