The Role:
An exciting and well supported opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Registered Nurse to co-lead the Theatre Team at Northern Hospital.
This role requires a dynamic, courageous, motivated and problem-solving nurse with proven leadership abilities. This highly rewarding position enables growth and autonomy within the Senior Management and Leadership Perioperative Team at Northern Health.
Working at Epping Campus, alongside the Nurse Unit Manager for Scrub, Scout, a collaborative approach to balancing theatre planned and emergency surgery is required.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience and good working knowledge of the National Quality & Safety Standards, ACORN and ASNZ Proven ability to time manage, meet deadlines, work collaboratively, celebrate wins and identify and address areas for improvement. This role works alongside the NUM Scrub/Scout to be accountable and responsible for the daily operations of the department and the wider Perioperative Service.
