THE ROLE


The Workforce Support Officer creates efficient rosters using rostering tools provided for Residential Care facilities and ensures that all shifts are filled to required service levels.


_ Key responsibilities_

  • Maintain the rostering system (etivity), ensuring staff details and availability are accurate and kept up to date and updating details in the system where required
  • Efficiently roster residential and TCP staff to provide client services in Residential Care Facilities in line with agreed care plans
  • Prepare and distribute fortnightly rosters to allocated residential facilities ensuring rostered created comply with Occupational Health and Safety, EBA and other legislative requirements
  • Attend to the telephone On-Call staff support system in line with agreed plan
  • Liaise with Service Managers and administration staff to identify short or longterm changes to rostering support
  • Ensure accurate payroll data and pay queries for Residential Care permanent employees are completed fortnightly for payment
  • Schedule rosters to maximise the utilisation of Amana Living staff in line with their availability, location and competency as listed in etivity
  • Identify rostering gaps and make recommendations on the recruitment requirements per facility in terms of both volume and skill
  • Ensure all daytoday unallocated services, occurring from unplanned Leave, have a suitable Amana Living replacement to attend
  • Order vacant shifts from labour hire agencies in line with Amana Living approved agency allocation framework
  • Collaborate with Team leaders to analyse published against master rosters to make rostering improvements

_Essential Criteria_

  • Evidence of COVID19 and 2023 Flu vaccinations
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance _(within 6months validity)_
  • Successful completion of preemployment health form and reference checks
  • Previous experience (2yrs+) with knowledge of Rostering and timekeeping systems within a large organisation
  • Experience in dealing with confidential personnel and / or business records
  • Intermediate/Advanced computer skills, especially in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience providing support or advise for etivity for managers and staff _(desirable)_
  • Ability to Prepare basic reports _(desirable)_
  • Progressing towards a relevant qualification _(desirable)_
