We're on the lookout for an Employee Events Manager.

If you're an experienced event professional who is passionate about delivering best-in-class employee reward event experiences and impactful rewards communications, loves a creative challenge, and enjoys a fast-paced team environment we want to hear from you.

This role will be part time - 4 days per week.

The day to day
The Employee Communications & Events team supports the Optus Australia business and our CEO. We work up, down and across the company to communicate our business strategy, deliver unique employee experiences and help our amazing people understand the role they play in bringing it to life


The focus of this role is to deliver best-in-class reward experiences for our amazing people including end to end management of our internal Beyond Yes incentive events and communications including a focus on continuous improvements and program enhancement.

You'll manage the relationship with our event agency including all project planning, continuous improvement, budget and timeline management and overall maintenance of the vendor relationship.

You'll be required to travel to support our annual Australian based reward events and communications.

Internal stakeholder management is a key part of this role, briefing in the experiences for endorsement, addressing feedback and providing recommendations.

  • Tertiary qualification in events, communications, marketing, public relations, travel, or relevant area.
  • Extensive experience within a similar role working in an agency or corporate
  • Think in an unexpected way, results driven, with incredible project management skills
  • Previous Csuite exposure, with demonstrated ability to maintain strong relationships with effective negotiation and influencing skills
