Work with a pharmaceutical organisation that is seeking a Senior Events Coordinator for a 4 month assignment with the possibility to extend. This role is based in Macquarie Park with parking available on site. You can work up to 4 days a week from home.

The Business
The medical sector is always an area of demand, not only for the innovation within the business but what the company stands for. This business may not be a household name with a smaller presence in Australia, however, they are global market leaders.

The Role

  • You will be solely responsible for the organisations events, reporting to the Head of Medical. The event will be up to 100+ people.
  • You will be the coordinator of all stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • You will be organising logistical support, procurement and coordinating with event and travel agencies.
  • There is also an administration element where you will create purchase orders, invoices and support the business with ad hoc admin

Experience

  • To be successful in this role you will need;
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Proven experience in organising and managing conferences, seminars, or workshops, including logistics, vendor coordination, and attendee management. Medical is preferred, not essential.
  • Administrative Support: Strong background in providing high-level administrative support, such as managing schedules, handling correspondence, preparing reports, and coordinating travel arrangements for executives.
  • Healthcare Industry Knowledge (Preferred, not essential): Familiarity with medical terminology, regulatory compliance, and the unique requirements of healthcare-related events, ensuring adherence to industry standards and protocols.
