About the Role

They are currently seeking multiple Regulatory Compliance Officers to join their team in Burwood with the flexibility of working remotely from home.

These are an estimated 2-7month temporary assignments, with a strong potential to extend.


Working within the Housing Homelessness and Disability Regulatory Division, you will be responsible for monitoring, licensing, investigating internal and external service providers to ensure compliance along with ensuring appropriate care is provided to vulnerable NSW Community members.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent end to end monitoring, investigation, licensing and auditing of service providers
  • Undertake enforcement actions including issues of compliance and penalty notices, preparing for court proceedings
  • Generate evidence based recommendations including reports, submissions, briefing notes, file notes and correspondence
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity and relevance of data collated to support relevant reporting
  • Provide advice and recommendations to stakeholders to develop capability
  • Track, monitor and report on systemic trends and issues, mitigating risks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement strategies
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective interface between program development, planning, service design and policy implementation
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

About You

  • Demonstrated experience working within a Regulatory or Compliance environment
  • Previous experience working within community services sector
  • Professional, Resilient and confident with a customer service delivery focus
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid analytical, conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite

  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
