The role


This role will give you the opportunity to consistently challenge yourself through being exposed to a range of interesting projects, construction and infrastructure work, as well as being exposed to a range of clients including head contractors, developers, consultants and subcontractors.


You will be provided with continuous learning opportunities and will be mentored and supported as you develop your career as a Projects & Construction Lawyer.

Your learning experience will be underpinned by an excellent CLE program, and the opportunity to build relationships within our National Projects & Construction Team and gain exposure to work across Australia.


To succeed in this role you will ideally have

  • Experience as an admitted lawyer with 6 years PQE experience within Construction
  • Exposure to both front end and back end work is desirable
  • An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills
  • A commitment to excellence and delivery of high quality outcomes to our clients
  • Ability to effectively manage your own time, managing competing tasks and at time working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive and 'can do' attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
