We're looking for an
Indigenous Business Development Assistant to join our
Sydney Management & Administration team . This role has the flexibility for you to be based out of either our
Sydney or Newcastle office .

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Co-developing and implementing GHD's Indigenous Business Relationships Framework in collaboration with key GHD stakeholders
  • Assist GHD project teams and seek opportunities for improvement and engagement
  • Provide vendor prequalification and onboarding support
  • Track and report on KPI's related to Indigenous Procurement as needed by various parts of the business
  • Support key external stakeholder relationships e.g. Supply Nation, Indigenous Chambers of Commerce

What you will bring to the team:

  • Ability to engage with and include GHD's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous employees
  • Strong connection to community
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders with responsibility for vendor prequalifications, vendor accounts and finance, and staff developing project participation
  • Effective oral and written communication and facilitation skills
  • High attention to detail in spreadsheets and tables
  • Collaborate with other staff and open to sharing of information
  • Ability to work independently when required
