About the role
As the Sales Manager overseeing the Queensland and South Australia regions, you will play a crucial role in boosting sales and business growth in the 'adjuster' sector. Your responsibilities include expanding client accounts, fostering new relationships, exploring fresh market opportunities, managing projects, and showcasing products to Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients.
Duties
- Identify and capitalize on chances to enhance sales revenue through client account expansion and acquiring new clients.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers to establish strong, trusting relationships, enabling the company to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering team on all projects, including upcoming opportunities.
- Conduct quarterly assessments of competitor markets and the broader industry landscape to pinpoint avenues for increasing market share.
- Create and seize opportunities to introduce the product range to existing and potential customers through activities like product workshops and conferences.
- Identify and lead tender submissions.
Skills & Experience
- In-depth knowledge of the commercial construction sector, key industry players, markets, and existing or potential JV partners and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in an organized and strategic manner.
- Proficiency in delivering presentations to industry experts.
- Self-driven with a focus on market dominance through superior customer comprehension and service, strong commercial acumen and judgment, and adept problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools - Word, Excel, Outlook 365 & Power Point.
- Familiarity with various business software systems such as MS Office suite, BCI, Corelogic, or Estimate One.
