ADMINISTRATION OFFICERS (Pool)
Joondalup Health Campus are seeking to recruit experienced and motivated people to join our administration team. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which administration officer appointments will be made when vacancies occur.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to patients and their families across our Administration departments.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a professional administrative skillset. The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy area.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors, nurses, pathologists, administrators and non-clinical staff
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE (but not limited to):
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Provide timely and accurate information in response to queries by patients, visitors, and all stakeholders
- Support Clinical staff in relation to administrative functions
- Maintain and update IT systems to ensure accurate and quality data
- Maintain confidentiality on all issues relating to the Hospital, customers, and colleagues
- Ensure Hospital and department policies, processes and documentation requirements are successfully implemented and consistently complied with
- Maintain positive relationships and strong communication networks with all stakeholders and other departments so that quality outcomes are achieved
- Assist new members of staff by helping them with skill and knowledge acquisition
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail and ability to clearly articulate information in written format
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Proven organisational skills and ability to work to a deadline
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Competent keyboard and computer skills using Microsoft office suite
- Previous experience in an administrative position
- Relevant health care services experience
- Experience in hospital IT systems
