What does the job look like?
The Operational Processing Coordinator is responsible for managing the load planning, load optimization and delivery using the DFN.
This role will report into and support the Operational Planning Manager to ensure that all loads are planned in accordance with business guidelines and relevant legislation.
Based in Chullora you will be required to work 8am - 4pm Mon - Fri.Key areas:
- Work closely with the Operational Rail Team to manage workload and operational planning.
- Manage incoming customer bookings, create Sales Orders to process shipments/loads, manifest the driver loads in SAP and all rail bookings.
- Manage the PUD (pick up and delivery) and Subcontractor booking and maintenance system, ensuring that all the allocated details for the carriers are updated for FTP against the manifest.
- Allocate all rail drivers worksheets and all PODs (proof of delivery) to FTP Daily.
- General administration
This is the perfect job for a person who has worked within the transport industry and/ or has operational expertise and seeking further career development.
We are seeking interest from applicants who possess excellent administration skills, are tech savvy, adept at communicating with people at all levels and looking to grow with a leader in their field.
Training will be provided.You can demonstrate:
- Solid experience using Excel, MS Office and SAP (preferred)
- Operational experience in a logistics environment (preferred)
- Able to multitask, share team responsibilities to maintain maximum monitoring level of prompt, efficient and courteous customer service.
- Flexible and accountable approach to work commitments operating effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
