Exciting opportunity Play a key role in supporting the Waste team by assisting the team in proactively responding to reports of hard waste and litter requests.

You will also assist in undertaking audits, collating data and the servicing requirements for Council owned facilities and reserves. This role will also cover the 'Waste Compactor Driver's' RDOs, leave and additional weekend coverage.

  • Utilize and expand your experience, capabilities and skills in the waste area.
  • Have experience with our CRM system and the ability to log and manage customer service requests.
  • Have computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office.

About the Role


This is a rare opportunity to join our high-performing and close-knit Waste team For a fixed period of between 6-12 months while we undertake a service review of the Council waste services and future requirements.

You will be required to have a medium rigid truck licence and experience in operating a waste compactor truck and other associated equipment.

You will need to be available to work on a 7-day rotating roster with a fortnightly RDO.


Your ability to asses situations and arrive at appropriate work solutions, combined with your excellent customer service skills, will be highly valuable for this position.
