About the Role:

Atkar Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Sales Executive to join our team and drive our growth in NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from the moment they are awarded to builders or contractors, to final negotiation, securing the projects, and handover to our projects team. This role requires building and nurturing strong relationships with key contacts within the builder or contractor organizations, understanding their needs, and positioning Atkar Group as the preferred supplier for their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage with builders and contractors upon project award to establish strong relationships
  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within builder and contractor organizations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings to assess project progress and address any concerns or issues proactively
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure profitable outcomes for Atkar Group
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Understanding of construction processes and terminology is desirable
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
