Monash Health's Referral Management Team are looking for an individual to help lead our dynamic workplace, that prioritises patient care. The Referral Management Team contribute to patient care while ensuring Department of Health and Human Services mandates are met.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated individual who has outstanding leadership and customer service skills to join the team at Monash Health Specialist Consulting Outpatients, Referral Management. The Team Leader works collaboratively with the management team of Referral Management to provide strong leadership for our administration team, while ensuring we continue to deliver high quality and timely care for our patients.

About You

You are looking to develop your leadership and management experience, or you are an accomplished leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A strong communicator that is able to demonstrate integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence. Interested in overseeing existing workflows, creating meaningful change to processes, and collaborating on larger projects.

You have:

  • Strong leadership approach to your team and work responsibilities
  • Enjoys communicating with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
  • Capable of training and developing others to achieve success within the workforce
  • Able to design/redesign workflows and procedures to improve outcomes
  • Strong communication skills to help guide the team and provide high level patient service.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and participating in larger Monash Health projects
  • Proven organisational skills and can work autonomously
  • Demonstrable ability to manage a range of administration responsibilities across a number of workflows
  • A quality focus whilst ensuring work is completed within the required time frames
  • A flexible approach to staggered start and finish times, as well as supporting a workplace that utilises working from home

What you need

  • Relevant qualifications in health and/or management
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • The Ability to work fulltime to support the team both onsite and remotely.
