    Job description:
  • To assist in a range of financial system duties, including first level helpdesk support, business and systems analysis, provision of user training, participation in projects and other day to day tasks to support the ongoing management and development of the department's financial management information systems.

Duties:

  • Assist the Financial Systems Administrator with the ongoing daily operations and maintenance of the department's financial management information systems.
  • Assist in maintaining effective systems and data/information integrity through the development and delivery of appropriate security models, internal controls, risk management and quality assurance processes.
  • Prepare and provide financial system enduser training to small groups and individuals, including the development and maintenance of appropriate training materials and user manuals.
  • Provide high level technical support to users in the resolution of financial system, business process and general operational issues.
  • Development and provision of internal management reports within the financial system to support financial management activities throughout the department.
  • Assist with the planning, development, testing and implementation of system upgrades and systems based project improvement programs.
