About the opportunity
A unique opportunity exists for a talented Systems Administrator and Analyst to join our Business and Finance unit in this recently redeveloped role. Our business process management system (BMC), developed on Appian's globally leading BPA platform, is operational across a number of business areas with the aim of extending its use to the wider organisation. The BPM System Administrator and Analyst will manage the day to day operations of BMC and participate in projects to further develop and enhance utilisation of the system by the PHT team.
To be eligible for this position, you are required to have Australian or New Zealand citizenship, be a permanent residence of Australia or a current valid visa that allows you to fulfill the full-time requirements of this role.
What you would be doing
Reporting to Manager - Procurement you will:
- Administer the BMC including user access and ongoing system integrity
- Support users, including developing user guides and delivering training
- Be a key BMC contact for the system vendor and PHT staff
- Take responsibility for ongoing system development, upgrades and enhancements
- Contribute to creating system KPIs and continuous improvement
Here's what you'll look like
- Substantial experience with systems administration – ideally 3 years minimum but if not, we'd still like to hear from you if you meet the other criteria
- Good knowledge of contemporary business systems, processes and workflows, in particular project and procurement related
- Experience with Appian and project management would be a plus, however, professional development in these areas may on offer for the right person
- Excellent communication, collaboration, engagement and training skills
