YOUR OPPORTUNITY


Due to exciting growth in the business, we are looking for a mature and reliable
Customer Care Consultant to join our high performing
Trade Store team based in
Bendigo VIC.


You will be required to provide functional support across all key activities relating to a Trade Service environment including but not limited to Administration, Safety, Face to Face Customer Service, Inbound Calls, Trade Store merchandising, housekeeping, Warehousing & Vendor Managed Site Support.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide face to face support to trade store sales, enquiries, quotes as required
  • Identify opportunities to increase order size and profitability through upselling and cross selling
  • Provide excellent customer service to all "walk in trade customers" in line with company values
  • Participate in all product training in line with company requirements
  • Utilise the 'Backwoods Way' minimum shopfront standard guide to maintain and improve the effectiveness of the Trade Stores
  • Ensure all appropriate actions are taken to support HSE policies, procedures and legislative requirements within the warehouse/ trade centre site
  • Proactively drive efficiencies in the warehouse & showroom while ensuring a high level of service is maintained
  • Support warehouse & showroom activities covering order processing, stock movement and inventory initiatives with an objective of achieving best practice in these areas

To be successful, you will have:

  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, between the hours 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Preferred customer service experience in a trade store / retail environment
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Problemsolving skills
  • Intermediate MS Office skills are preferred
  • Commercial focus
  • Experience / demonstrated ability to work with in a small team
  • Good verbal communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously
