Job Title: Consultant Gastroenterologist

Job Summary:

Bendigo Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team as a Consultant Gastroenterologist. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our gastroenterology services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and management to the gastroenterology team
• Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures
• Contribute to the development of our gastroenterology services, including service planning and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide direct clinical service delivery, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Lead a highly productive and cohesive multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Advanced medical degree and specialist training in gastroenterology
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Proven experience in clinical leadership and management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
