Join a dedicated, friendly team who really care about the work that we do for the people we house.

This role is based in our Head Office in Rivervale, Perth, initially offered on a 12 month contract, with potential of extension tied to success of the project.

You will work very closely with a dynamic team of Tenancy Assistants and Tenancy Officers.
We pride ourselves in our collaborative work which focuses on the provision of person-centered tenancy management.

The Tenancy Officer role is to provide a person-centred tenancy management service for a portfolio of Housing Choices WA properties.

Falling within the Supported Tenancies team, offering high quality customer service and ensuring compliance, and protection of the property asset, whilst operating within a supportive landlord model.

The role will be responsible for the Central-Metropolitan through to the Peel regions delivering specialised tenancy management to individuals who have experienced rough-sleeping and homelessness.

We seek an organised individual with strong administration and time management skills who is an effective communicator.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate that you have high attention to detail, the capacity to engage with a wide cross section of individuals and an ability to prioritise workloads, as well as a sound understanding of recovery based principles and person centred approaches.

Full training will be provided, however previous experience in Real Estate is highly regarded.
This is the opportunity to move from private into the not-for-profit sector.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of property management practices and principles, including the Residential Tenancies Act, inspection processes and property maintenance requirements.

Strengths in customer service, in particular strong communication and negotiation skills and proven ability to find solutions to complex problems and work effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Well-developed organisational skills to manage workload and competing priorities.

Previous experience working in a team environment and willingness to provide assistance and support to other team members and contribute to a positive team environment.

Experience engaging with vulnerable people who have experienced persistent homelessness or rough sleeping highly desirable.
