This dynamic transportation company is in the midst of an exhilarating transformation and is on the hunt for their next AP Manager. Your mission? Streamline processes, introduce fresh policies, and steer the ship towards success. This pivotal role calls for a seasoned pro to implement cutting-edge systems (New ERP and OCR) and elevate the AP Team. With a hefty workload of around 60k invoices monthly, get set for a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee a seasoned Accounts Payable team to ensure precise, swift, and punctual invoice processing;
  • Confirming proper allocation of purchase order numbers and tackling any arising issues;
  • Supervise all supplier payments to uphold accurate transaction management and recording;
  • Pioneer ongoing enhancements, boost efficiency, and attain centralized control via our ERP systems, and maintain ERP AP master data;
  • Champion the implementation of a new AP system as a core member of the project crew;
  • Work closely with the Corporate Finance Manager and regional Financial Controllers to comply with the group's Delegation of Authority, policies, and directives; and
  • Enforce meticulous procedures for invoice processing, validation, reconciliation, and payment cycles.

What experience is required?

  • Proven track record in system implementation, especially OCR;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing sizable teams;
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities, with a knack for cross-departmental effectiveness;
  • Proficiency in Excel; and
  • Background in precise calculation, posting, and management of financial records.
